Business Survey, West Bank Ride & West Bank Crawl!

Hello awesome West Bank friends,

A few updates, announcements and reminders for you below.

Business Priorities Survey – deadline extended – please respond ASAP

Please take 5-10 minutes to let us know what your priorities are for the upcoming year, and what you hope the WBBA’s priorities will be. This will both help save time during our planning session as well as make sure many businesses voices are heard as we plan our course for the next few years.

You and/or others in your business are welcome to participate. The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QXXTJ8V. We will accept responses through Sunday September 14.

This information will help guide our strategic planning session and spend more quality time on planning. You are welcome to join us for this session on September 18, 3-5pm at Augsburg’s Oren Gateway Center.

West Bank Crawl

For the next two months join the WBBA for a series of crawls highlighting the culinary, creative and cocktail-y awesomeness of the West Bank.

The first Crawl will be held Thursday September 11, 2014. First stop will be Dilla’s Ethiopian Resturant – Minnesota, followed by the Nomad World Pub  for a night of art and music!

When guests send a copy of any receipt for any West Bank business purchase made between September 1, 2014 and October 31, 2014 they will be entered in a drawing to win a Night Out on the West Bank!

The night of fun will include: a $50 gift certificate to Republic (7 Corners), two tickets to an upcoming performance at Theatre In The Round, and an overnight stay in the newly renovated Courtyard Minneapolis. Other prizes drawn will include: Mixed Blood T-shirts, $10 Met Transit gift cards, and West Bank Love t-shirts. Participants in any of the Thursday night crawls and any receipt from those venues and events will count for TWO entries.

West Bank Ride

Registration is now open for the 2014 West Bank Ride!

Registration is FREE – or $13 to also get a commemorative map and a t-shirt. Join the cycling and creative communities in a non-competitive cycling event inviting participants to explore one of the Twin Cities’ most vibrant and bike-friendly neighborhoods – the West Bank!

We’ve organized a series of 13 stops and activities for riders to enjoy along their way.

We’re also looking for volunteers the day of the event. You can find out more about both registration and volunteering at:http://www.westbankride.org
