Augsburg Dorm Ice Cream Social
WHEN: This Sunday (September 4th)
WHAT: Augsburg’s Department of Residence Life is hosting an Ice cream social for over 300 new students. Local businesses are welcome to set-up a booth or table to advertise, promote their business, give away samples, hand out brochures, distribute coupons, display event schedules, etc. Interested? Fall Scavenger Hunt
WHEN: Early October
WHAT: The WBBA, in collaboration with the Stadium Village and Prospect Park neighborhoods, is planning a student scavenger hunt that will bring university students out to local businesses to compete for a prize (and possibly get some deals or giveaways along the way). Students will receive a
scavenger hunt booklet that contains pictures of items they need to locate. Hunters that locate a qualifying number of entries will be entered to win a prize. We will work with you to take a picture related to your business, train you and your staff to ‘stamp’ the booklets when students find you, and add in any deals or coupons you might want to offer. Still Room to Table at the Gopher Football Opener
Businesses along the corridor have the opportunity to have a table outside the Stadium on the Plaza to advertise their business at no cost. You can pass out information, coupons, and non-food items to the 50,000+ crowd that will be attending the game.

Times: Arrival at noon for set up, tear down at 3 p.m. (Game starts at 2:30 p.m.) Attendees: 50,000+ Football Fans
Participating businesses receive one 8’ table; businesses provide their own table covering, materials to hand out (that must be pre-approved by the University of Minnesota), and staffing.
