Upcoming Meetings, Opportunities and Reminders for West Bank Nonprofits

Hello West Bank Nonprofit friends!

Nonprofit Networking

Join us next Thursday May 9, 9:30 am at the Southern Theater for Nonprofit Networking. This is an informal monthly meeting, a chance to connect with other nonprofits working on the West Bank. Stop by to get some free coffee and treats and meet some of the other awesome community-minded organizations in our neighborhood!

Pro Bono Marketing Assistance

We’re still accepting applications for pro bono marketing assistance for nonprofits.

Need help drafting a marketing plan? Want help drafting a content strategy for your Social Media? Need some photography done for your organization? The WBBA is excited to announce that we have funds available to help arts and cultural nonprofits on the West Bank! For more information or to set up an appointment please contact us at: info@thewestbank.org.

openSPACE / openAUDIENCE

From legacy funding to foundation dollars and more – all generously funding the creation and development of new work. But what about developing new audiences? Is theater and art in the Twin Cities a high production, low consumption business?

What are organizations doing to craft new audiences of the arts? Are we cannibalizing the same crowd? What are we doing to connect the plethora of creative activity with new attendees, and what are the next steps for theaters, venues, galleries and the cultural districts in which they operate?

Join us for an OpenSpace style session at the Southern Theater while we dive further into this timely topic.

Who should attend?
Directors, curators, theater companies, marketing staff and destination district managers all welcome and encouraged come to attend.

Getting to the Southern:
The Southern is conveniently located off the Green Line Light Rail, the 22 and 7 bus lines, and the UofM Campus Connector . We encourage taking public transport. Parking is available both directly across the street and in the 7west parking ramp.
