The Superbowl Host Committee has lots of plans for downtown MPLS and St Paul – but very little slated for the West Bank neighborhood specifically.
This leaves the local planning up to us! What do you want to do in preparation for the game and events in general? What will our plan be for parking and business promotion? How can WBBA help you get a boost in revenue during a traditionally slow time of the year?

Northern Spark
Mark Your Calendars for June 10!
Northern Spark is a free all-night art festival exploring the effects of climate change through participatory projects happening in neighborhoods along Metro Transit’s Green Line. From sunset on June 10 to sunrise on June 11, Northern Spark will illuminate and draw audiences to neighborhoods and public spaces all along the METRO Green Line, connecting Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
We’ll be participating with installations throughout the neighborhood, an Iftar at Cedar Cultural Center’s Plaza, a Gift-themed Night Market at 427 Cedar, and more!
It’s a good night to stay up (or open) a little late and explore the neighborhood!

Wells Fargo Small Business Grant opportunity!
You are invited to apply for Wells Fargo’s Neighborhood Renovation Program. Please note, your business must be located and based out a selection of neighborhoods within the City of Minneapolis.
Your business is important to you, your customers, and the neighborhood you share with them. The Wells Fargo Works for Small Business: Neighborhood Renovation Program Contest is about helping small businesses thrive. Wells Fargo and Rebuilding Together — a nonprofit organization that revitalizes communities — along with a design team will renovate four small businesses in designated economic development focus areas in Minneapolis.
One Winner will receive up to a $25,000 renovation for their business and three Finalists will each win up to a $10,000 renovation.
To Enter:
- Complete the online contest application
- Respond to four questions about your business in 1,000 words or less
- Submit three to five photos of the exterior and interior of your business
