May: Local Festivals

May 17, 2012 – 4:00pm

Making the most of the West Bank Festival opportunities: The West Bank Music Festiva (August 18, 2012) and the Zombie Pub Crawl (October 13, 2012). Meeting will also address safety around festival time.

June: Bridging Gaps

June 21, 2012 – 4:00pm

We have access to great resources via the Universities, the Business Association, and the West Bank Community Coalition. How can businesses get help from the institutions and nonprofits in the area? Our June meeting will highlight a variety of resources, where the opportunities are and who to contact.

July: Promotion 101

July 19, 2012 – 4:00pm

How can you leverage the brand of the West Bank District? What are some free tools and marketing resources available to you? July’s meeting will focus on marketing your business, creating good content and using and leveraging the West Bank “brand” to help bring people to your door.

August – Crime & Safety

August 16, 2012 – 4:00pm

With great appreciation for our new Safety Center and in anticipation of festivals and activity, we’ll talk in August about things businesses can be doing to keep your workers and customers more safe. This meeting will also feature an updated report on crime on the West Bank and information about how individual businesses can be more involved with the Safety Committee.
