WBID: Safety Ambassadors Program Tour

Interested in learning about a Safety Ambassadors program?

Join us for a presentation about the Safety Ambassadors program of the Downtown Improvement District (DID), followed by a tour of the West Bank neighborhood. The tour will be an opportunity to discuss a Safety Ambassadors program as part of the West Bank Improvement District (WBID) and share safety concerns and key issues with Block by Block, the vendor that provides the Safety Ambassadors program.

Weekend Work

CenterPoint Energy will be working on weekends in the area of 19th Av S and Riverside Av for the next 6 weeks starting the weekend of April 28th. This work will include a variety of construction activities but is likely to include heavy machinery such as backhoes, vacuum trucks, and dump trucks.

As the 2012 construction activities continues on Riverside Ave, the city will continue to provide additional updates when weekend work is expected.
